Advani arrives to pay homage

Mumbai, May 3 (UNI) Former BJP president L K Advani arrived at the state BJP headquarter here tonight to pay homage to party general secretary Pramod Mahajan who succumbed to extensive bullet injuries after 12 days of battling for survival at Hinduja Hospital here this afternoon.

The body of the 56-year-old leader embedded with three bullets, allegedly pumped in him by his younger brother Pravin, was still undergoing an autopsy in the government's GT hospital here.

After the post mortem, it would be brought to the party state headquarter at Nariman point to enable the party workers and poeple pay their respect. Hundreds of them have started quequing up for the purpose.

Police have set up barricades in the area for crowd control.
