UTI basic industries fund renamed 'UTI-Infrastructure Fund'

Mumbai, May 02 (UNI) UTI Basic Industries Fund has been renamed to 'UTI Infrastructure Fund' with a view to effectively convey it's objectives. The change will be effective from May 2, 2006. All the other terms and features of the scheme will remain unchanged.

The UTI Infrastructure fund was launched under the UTI-Thematic Fund in March 2004 as an open-end equity fund. The investment objective of the fund is to provide investors the benefits of capital appreciation and income distribution by investing in companies engaged in the sectors like metals, building materials, oil&gas, power, chemicals, engineering etc.
