Revision of NRI deposit rates by UCO Bank

Kolkata, May 2: UCO Bank has revised interest rates on NRI deposits from May 1, 2006.

For NRE term deposits held for one year to two years, two to three years and three years and above the rates were 6.33 per cent, 6.33 per cent and 6.34 per cent respectively, according to a bank spokesperson.

For FCNR(B) deposits the interest rates for periods of one year to two years, two years to three years, three years to four years, four years to five years and for five years were 5.33 per cent, 5.34 per cent, 5.35 per cent, 5.39 per cent and 5.43 per cent respectively in USD.

The rates were 4.87 per cent, 4.98 per cent, 5.06 per cent, 5.09 per cent and 5.10 per cent respectively in GBP and 3.32 per cent, 3.64 per cent, 3.78 per cent, 3.88 per cent and 3.96 per cent respectively in EUR.

The interest rates on CAD, AUD, Japanese Yen deposits were also hiked.
