three dead in road accident

Palakkad, May 2 (UNI) Three people were killed and three injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a van at Thachanpara in the district today.

Two of the injured have been admitted to a hospital at Perinthalmanna and one to a hospital here.

The deceased were identified as Kader Ali, jeep driver from Olavakkot, Benny from Vadakkunchery and Gopi from Kunnamkulam.

The jeep was proceeding to Attappady when the accident occurred.
