TDP getting ready for Mahanadu
Rajahmundry, May 2 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) politbureau member and TDP parliamentary party leader Yerra Naidu today urged party cadre to work for the success of the 'mahanadu' (party meet) to be held here from May 27 to 29.
Speaking to partymen, he said the TDP took pride in the developmental schemes it had introduced during its rule, which had put the state on the path of growth. He charged the Congress government with changing the names of the schemes first implemented by the TDP and associating them with Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
TDP general secretary Kadiam Srihari said the meet would pass resolutions to thrash out a third front, as an alternative to both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
