SVU, NGRI sign MoU on research

Tirupati, May 02 (UNI) Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) and National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for advanced research in the areas of remote sensing and disaster management here.

SVU vice-chancellor S Jayarama Reddy exchanged documents with NGRI Director V P Dimri to collaborate in teaching, research and training with special reference to earth sciences, intellectual property rights and consultancy.

In the function, the VC explained to the NGRI Director that the university was focusing on improving extension and research.

The NGRI Director announced that the two institutions would work together in the areas of science and technology.
