Itanagar, May 02 (UNI): A six-day zonal level Congress Seva Dal training camp began at Mahadevpur under Arunachal's Lohit district yesterday with state Chief Minister Gegong Apang and AICC secretary and in charge of Seva Dal Major Ved Prakash inaugurating the camp.

Laying emphasis on the training, the chief minister stated that camp would help the party cadres to familiarize themselves with the philosophy and policies of the Congress Party, party sources informed here today.

''It would help you to reach out to the people, especially the poor and needy'', he said and advocated that people and development oriented policies of the party should be carried to the people in every corner of the State.

Stressing on the need for conducting such trainings in all districts of the state, Mr Apang exhorted the trainees to prepare themselves to the call of the people in distress.
