Sity Energy to set up gas distribution network in UP

New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) Sity Energy Ltd, a subsidiary of Suncity Projects Pvt Ltd today announced its plan to set up a gas distribution network in Uttar Pradesh within the next five months.

The company also has plans to extend this project to other states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, a statement issued here said.

Sity Energy has also planned to set up a 1063 MW gas based Power plant in Haryana which will be fully functional by 2008-09.

It has also decided to sign a contract for getting 5 MMSCMD gas at 5.6 dollars per MMBTU for a time period of 25 years and have already approached GAIL, Reliance and Shell for supply of gas.
