Scandent Solutions launches PLM Innovation Centre

Bangalore, May 2: Scandent Solutions Ltd, a knowledge-based IT and BPO firm, today announced the launch of its Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Innovation Centre here.

The state-of-the-art facility would offer a wide range of PLM solutions and services to the automotive, hi-tech and consumer packaged goods sectors. It would serve as a knowledge repository of learning gleaned from Scandent's numerous worldwide customer engagements and new innovative frameworks developed through these engagements, according to a company release here.

''The PLM Innovation Centre is an extended facility for our customers and is a commitment to our growing client base who want best practices and innovative tools. Our team of PLM experts will help customers gear up to address the dynamics of frequently changing business scenarios, while remaining focused on their core business activity,'' PLM head K Ramachandran said.

More than 150 PLM consultants from Scandent were currently engaged in supporting leading customers in the automotive and manufacturing industry and 70 of them would be based at the centre, the release said.
