Rape recorded on CD, husband blackmailed

Indore, May 2 (UNI) A complaint was registered against one person who allegedly raped a woman and tried to balckmail her husband.

Police said the woman was taken ill on April 29 and called up her husband to take her to a doctor. The husband sent a relative, Manoj Yadav, to fetch her but Yadav instead took her to the club, sexually assaulted her and even recorded the crime on a CD.

Fearing social stigma, the victim did not tell anyone of the rape. Later, Yadav called up her husband and demanded Rs 50,000 for not making the CD public.

Yesterday, the couple lodged a police complaint.
