Quake jolts South Tokyo, no damage reports

TOKYO, May 2: A moderate earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.6 jolted an area south of Tokyo today, public broadcaster NHK said.

The quake was also felt in Tokyo.

There were no immediate reports of damage, and no tsunami warning was issued.
