Police rescues 6-year-old kidnapped child
New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) Police have rescued a six-year-old boy and arrested his kidnapper from Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district.
Jamil Ahmed (21) was arrested yesterday from Pureni village in Badaun district from where Arvin Sahni was rescued.
Jamil had also demanded a ransom of Rs two lakh from the Sahni's for Arvin's release and threatened to kill the child if they informed the police.
Police said the Sahni's had hired Jamil as a labourer for some construction work in their house and he had kidnapped Arvin on April 29.
