Police arrest youth with 20 kg ganja

Chatra, May 2 (UNI) Police today arrested a youth carrying 20 kg ganja, valued at Rs 50,000, near Itkhori district.

Acting on a tip-off police searched the bus and arrested the youth with the ganja which had been hidden in four bags.

The youth has been identified as Debabrata Sarkar, an inhibitant of Piridih village under Chidgorah police station in Jamshedpur district, police said.

The bus was proceeding from Kanhachahi in Chatra to wards Jamshedpur, police added.
