Pakistan imposes 10 pct import duty on wheat
ISLAMABAD, May 2 (Reuters) Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has approved imposition of 10 percent regulatory duty on wheat imports, the official news agency reported today.
''This measure would discourage wheat imports and would prompt the private sector to buy local wheat aggressively,'' Agriculture Minister Sikandar Hayat Bosan was quoted as saying by Associated Press of Pakistan.
