OHE network trips near Kurukshetra, trains delayed for an hour
New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) Train traffic was held up for an hour near Kurukshetra in Haryana after dust storm caused Over Head Rlectricity (OHE) wire network to trip the section this evening.
As many as six trains, including Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi, were delayed from 1730 hrs to 1830 hrs after the 'pentograph' (contraption that drew power for the train from the OHE cable) of a goods train got entangled with the OHE wire due to strong winds and the section tripped, Northern Railway sources said.
The fault has been rectified and railway traffic had since been restored.
