NCDEX records trade worth Rs 4,098 cr

Mumbai, May 2 (UNI) As many as 580 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 4,098 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 95,070 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, silver, wheat and refined soy oil, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 642 members had participated in trading and put through more than 93,950 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 4,377 crore (one way).

Active trades were in guarseed, silver, gold, wheat, and refined soy oil, the release added.
