Music album on Sreesanth

Kochi, May 2 (UNI) If poojas and prayers are not enough, here is a musical inspiration to Team India speedster S Sreesanth.

An album with a song to wish all the best to Kerala's cricket sensation ''Sree'' for his World Cup venture was released here today.

A group of youngsters have compiled and scored the music for the song which also features Sreesanth's brother-in-law and lead playback singer Madhu Balakrishnan among the singers.

However, Sreesanth could not attend the function as he was pre-occupied with day-long 'poojas' at home ahead of West Indies tour. His mother represented him instead.

Newcomers 'Twins of East' (twin brothers Arun and Anoop) have scored the music to the lines penned by Abhilash Perumbavur. The album was brought out by Aslam Annoor.

''We will soon bring out video album of the same with clippings of Sreesanth after having some shoots,'' said Mr Aslam.

Sree enjoyed the music album and also told about it to his team-mates Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh who appreciated it,'' said Aslam.

''We have taken it up to inspire Sreesanth to achieve laurels in the next World Cup. It is a prayer in music from all his Kerala fans,'' Abhilash said.
