Man sentenced in fake appointment case

Patna, May 2 (UNI) A junior chemist of Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation was awarded two years rigorous imprisonment in addition to a total fine of Rs 1500 today for being involved in a forgery case.

Special CBI judicial magistrate of Patna Sanjay Kumar Singh found convict Rajkant Singh guilty under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the charges, the convict got appointed as a fireman on the basis of a fake experience certificate in 1977 and drew salaries as an employee of the organisation.
