Written by: Staff

Sirsa, May 2 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today expressed his willingness to hand over to the CBI the probe into the murder of a Youth Congress leader in Dabwali, in which a conspiracy case had been filed against Abhey Chautala, son of ex-Chief Minister and INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala.

''The state government is ready to hand over the inquiry into the murder of Dabwali Youth Congress president Chand Singh Brar to the CBI if the INLD demands it,'' the Chief Minister said while talking to media persons here.

He also assured that an impartial investigation was being conducted in the murder case and the guilty would not be spared at any cost.

The Chief Minister said a case regarding the murder of Chand Singh Brar was registered against Mr Abhey Singh Chautala not on the basis of any political vendetta but on the complaint lodged by the deceased's brother.

Earlier, the Chief Minister went to the residence of the deceased leader and conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
