Higher reaches of the state experience mild snowfall
Shimla, May 2 (UNI) Higher reaches of the state today experienced mild snowfall and lower areas were lashed by intermittent rains.
An Overcast sky provided relief to the people in lower regions of the state where day temperatures had been soaring.
Shimla and its surrounding areas experienced light showers during the day time, which brought down the temperature.
Intermittent snowfall in higher reaches of Chamba district has also been reported with Sachh pass in the district experiencing snow fall for the past three days. Due to snowfall Chamba-Killar road, which was scheduled to open, could not be opened for vehicular traffic.
Reports of snow have also been received on Kugati pass in Manimahesh area of Chamba district.
