Rajahmundry. May 2 (uni) An exhibition of coir industry and products would be held here on May seven, According to Mr T P Padmanabhan, regional officer, coir board, Visakhapatnam.

In a press release here today he said a one-day seminar will also be held to create awareness among entrepreneurs and others a bout possibilities in the coir sector.

There was abundant raw material which is not being used for industrial activities, He said.

He said papers would be presented in the seminar on prospects in the coir sector in Andhra Pradesh and new products in coir sector with special emphasis on coir wood substitutes and possibilities in processing and export of coir pith.
