CBI submits FIR against DJB engineers
New Delhi, May 2 (UNI) CBI today submitted an FIR, in a specialcourt here, against three Delhi Jal Board (DJB) engineers for allegedly causing loss worth Rs 18 lakh to the Board.
The investigating agency filed the FIR, in the court of CBI judge Sunil Gaur, which stated that Assistant Engineer Vir Singh, Junior Engineer Dharam Singh and Suprindent Engineer Lalit Mohan abused their official position to cause 'wrongful gain' to a private company, WERM Ind Ltd, while granting a contract of desilting a drain in Patel Nagar area of West Delhi recently.
The CBI had filed an FIR against them on April 28 and charged them with cheating and forgery besides causing wrongful loss and various provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
