Bajaj Auto posts 37 pc rise in sales for April'06

Mumbai, May 02 (UNI) Bajaj Auto Limited has posted 37 per cent growth in the sales of motorcycles for the month of April 2006 at 188,518 Motorcycles as compared to 137,858 units in the same month last year.

Announcing this, the company said its motorcycle sales for April has outgrown industry estimate of 21 per cent.

Meanwhile, the company's 3-wheeler sales for April stood at 21,159 units reflecting a growth of 21 per cent.
