Astrologer P J Rao dies

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, May 2 (UNI) Renowned astrologer P J Rao died of heart attack here today.

He was 76. He is survived by two sons and two daughters.

Mr Rao was chairman of the International Council of Astrological Studies and president of the Andhra Pradesh Astrological Society. He had conducted more than 30 international seminars on astrology in the US, Singapore, South Korea and Maldives. He wrote 25 books on astrology, palmistry, numerology, telepathy, hypnotism and psychology.

Born in Visakhapatnam, Mr Rao retired as district Malaria officer in Andhra Pradesh health and medical service.

Mr Rao had donated his eyes to the Government eye bank.

His mortal remains will be cremated here tomorrow.
