Advani's yatra disrupts communal harmony

Jaipur, May 2: The Congress today termed BJP leader L K Advani's Bharat Suraksha Yatra an ''excuse to fan communal tension in the country.'' The party said here today, ''Mr Advani is trying to disrupt the goodwill that exists among various communities in the state and so-called yatra is only for show.'' Congress spokesman Ravindra Parikh said the party would not allow the BJP to disrupt the communal harmony in the state.

The Congress would demonstrate against the move and would burn effigies of Mr Advani in Chandpole Bazaar located in the walled city just before his arrival here today.

Mr Advani's yatra is likely to reach here at 2000 hrs.
