2 dead as tipper lorry overturns

Idukki, May 2 (UNI) Two labourers were killed and seven injured when a tipper lorry carrying them overturned at Anakkara near Kumily in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Narendran (40) and Ayyappan (20), hailing from Kumily, police said. The injured were admitted to a hospital.

The lorry was carrying labourers to their work place this morning when the accident took place.
