Workshop on AIDS for medicos

Jamshedpur, May 01 (UNI) The Jharkhand chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Indian Business Trust for HIV/AIDS (IBT) in partnership with the Australia India Council (AIC), are conducting capacity building clinical care training programme for medical professionals here on May 2 and 3.

The objective of the workshop ''Train the Trainers'' is to bring together the medical professionals on a common platform to learn from each other and provide an interactive and educative environment to discuss various issues related to the treatment of HIV/AIDS patients and also to enhance their skills while providing care and treatment.

Dr Alex Paglione and Dr Michelle Giles, an infectious disease physician from the University of Melbourne, will conduct the one and half days training programme along with an Indian Doctor, CII sources said.
