Westerlies plummet minimum to 23 Deg C, but hotter days ahead
New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) A day after the national capital witnessed the highest minimum temperature of the season at 27.2 degree Celsius, a fresh wave of Westerly winds today brought down the mercury to 23.0 degree Celsius, one degree below normal.
The fresh phase of Westerlies brought some relief from the scorching heat.
Despite the cool winds, the maximum temperature today was recorded at 41 degree Celsius, two degrees above normal.
The weathermen have forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi towards this evening, with the likelihood of some showers.
The weathermen have predicted a rise in both, the maximum and minimum temperature, during the coming days to 42 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively.
Further, Sunny weather is expected for the rest of the week, they said.
