Sudan rebels JEM say demand changes to peace deal
ABUJA, Apr 30 (Reuters) Sudan Darfur rebel group the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) said today it would refuse to sign a proposed peace agreement in its current form.
''We are not going to accept this document for signature unless there are fundamental changes made to the document,'' Ahmed Tugod, JEM chief negotiator, told Reuters.
The African Union set 0430 ist tomorrow morning as a deadline to conclude the talks and said it would not reopen substantial negotiations on the proposed text.
