SNIST in pact with US institution for aviation courses

Hyderabad, May 1 (UNI) The Sree Educational Society today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, USA, to offer internationally recognised aviation and engineering technology programmes at the Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST).

Announcing this to the media here Sree Educational Society Secretary K T Mahi said the pioneering global partnership will enable SNIST to offer Bachelor of Science (BS), Associate in Applied Science(AAS) and certificate courses in multiple disciplines of aviation engineering based on curriculum developed by Vaughn.

Under the mutual agreement, Vaughn would offer 30 of the total 120 course credits while Sreenidhi will offer the balance 90.

Students have the option to take the 30 credits either at SES or at Vaughn College in the US.

Sree Educational Society and Vaughn have approached the government agencies for requisite approvals to commence the courses and are optimistic of obtaining the same in time to take off in the coming academic year (2006-07).

Our partnership with Vaughn facilitates Indian students to complete the much-in-demand courses at a fraction of cost compared to doing the courses overseas.
