Senior journalist dead

Tirupati, May 1 (UNI) A senior journalist, T K Subramanyam, also popularly called TKS, died of a heart attack at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences(SVIMS) here.

He was 71.

The veteran journalist was undergoing treatment at SVIMS for the past few days.

Mr Subramanyam was working as a Correspondent for the Tamil daily ''Dinakaran'' and was also a member of the executive committee of the Chittoor unit of APUWJ.

The Tirupati Tamil Sangam and the journalist fraternity expressed grief over his death.
