One person killed and 60 injured in road mishap

Mandya, May 1 (UNI) One person was killed and more then 60 injured when the lorry in which they were travelling fell into a ditch on Maddur-Malavalli road in Mandya District here today.

Police said the mishap occurred when a marriage party was returning to Malavalli, the lorry driver lost control of the vehcile. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
