Kalam in deep grief over Doda massacre
New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) President APJ Abdul Kalam today expressed grief over the killing of innocent people in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir last night.
In a message to Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad, Dr Kalam said he was saddened to learn about the incident in which a number of people were killed and others injured.
He conveyed his sympathies and condolences to the next of kin of those who lost their lives and wished early recovery of the injured.
Meanhile, Minister of Tribal Affairs and Development of North Eastern Region PR Kyndiah has condemned the killing of 13 tribals in Dantewara district of Chhattisgarh yesterday and expressed deep condolence to the bereaved families.
He has demanded that the state government should take strong action against the culprits and provide security to tribals.
