Jeev clings on to lead in UBS Order of Merit

Kuala Lumpur, May 1 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh had to be happy with a tied 10th finish in The Crowns in Japan but the Indian pro prolonged his stay at the top of the UBS Order of Merit with 389,391 dollar in his pocket.

After his title drought came to an end in the Volvo China, Jeev shot up to the top of the Order of Merit and remains there after his average outing in The Crown.

Shiv Kapur, highly talented but groping for consistency, is the next Indian in the ladder at 12th position with an earning of 130,407 dollar.

Seasoned Amandeep Johl (94,545 dollar), who was impressive at the 600,000 dollar GS Caltex Maekyung Open in Korea where he fnished tied third, is placed 15th.
