New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) India and Pakistan will hold talks here from tomorrow on confidence building measures (CBMs) across the Line of Control (LoC) including operationalising arrangements for truck services for trade on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route.

The two-day discussions on May 2 and 3 will also focus on commencement of a bus service between Poonch and Rawalakot and the opening of two meeting points on the Line of Control (LOC), a spokesman of External Affairs Ministry said here today.

The Indian delegation at the talks will be led by Mr Dilip Sinha, Joint Secretary (PAI), while the seven-member Pakistani side will be led by Mr Syed Ibne Abbas, Director General (South Asia).

''The talks will cover the arrangements for the operationalisation of the truck service for trade on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route, the commencement of a bus service between Poonch and Rawalakot and the opening of the two meeting points on the LOC,'' the spokeman added.

The two countries had agreed last month to finalise modalities on these three proposals.

As part of the modalities for truck services across the LOC, the two sides will also discuss the nature and number of products to be traded across.
