ICT bags three new international contracts worth 3.25 mln$

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Ltd (ICT) today announced it has bagged international engineering consultant contracts worth 3.25 million dollars in Tajikistan, Ghana and Mozambique in the last two weeks.

''As the head of an Indian company with a global vision, I am delighted that ICT is breaking new international grounds and Indian expertise is increasingly being recognised in a field which requires a very high degree of engineering and technical expertise and proven competence,'' ICT CMD Kiran K Kapila said.

In Tajikistan, the consultancy services have been awarded 'TA-4294-TAJ -- to strengthening the implementation of Road Maintenence Financing System' through the Asian Development Bank.

The contract, which should be completed within the time frame of 12 months. is worth 4,96,000 dollars, In Ghana, they bagged the contract of Ghana Civil Aviation Authority for 'Rehabilitation of Runways and Apron Pavements at the Kumasi Airport.

This project is to meet the objectives of Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to provide adequate and safe aerodrome facilities at the airport in Ghana by rehabilitating the existing Runway and Passenger Apron Pavements and installation of Runway and Apron Airfield Ground Lighting System.

The project is to be completed within a span of nine months, with the total contract amount at 13,83,450 dollars.

In Mozambique, ICT has been selected for providing Consultancy Services for Provision of ANE Technical Assistance Team. The objective is to provide ANE with specific long term technical assistance to support ANE's core function of effective of effective management of Mozambique's national road network.

The contract period is for eight months and the contract amount is worth 13,83,450 dollars.

ICT has operations in more than 27 countries, with New Delhi as its headquarters.
