Hero Honda sells over 2.5 lakh units in April

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Hero Honda, the country's biggest motorcycle maker today said it had sold a total of 250,366 units during April 2006, an overall sales growth of 6.34 per cent, as against the corresponding month in the previous year.

The company sold 250,366 units during April 2006, out of which 243,879 came from motorcycles and 6,487 from scooters, a statement said here today.

Hero Honda's cumulative sales for motorcycles for the period January-April 2006 are 997,871, a hike of 8.37 per cent over 920,841 units in the corresponding period last year.

The company clocked an overall cumulative growth of 11.1 per cent over the period January-April 2006, with sales of 1022823 two-wheelers.
