Hemant Krishan Singh appointed ambassador to Japan

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI) Mr Hemant Krishan Singh, presently Ambassador to Indonesia, has been appointed the next envoy to Japan.

Mr Singh, an Indian Foreign Service Officer of 1974 batch, will succeed Mr M.L. Tripathi, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said.
