Goods train derails in Bihar

Patna, May 1 (UNI) Train services were affected on Quil-Jamalpur rail section of Malda division following derailment of 19 bogies of a goods train in beteeen Abahaipur and Kajra railway stations.

According to Eastern railways sources, the goods train loaded with stone chips was going from Pakur to Siwan this noon following which both UP and Down lines were blocked.

Movement of several trains was suspended, while other trains were diverted. The trains, which were cancelled, included 3419 UP Bhagalpur-Muzaffarpur Janseva Express, 3235 UP Sahebganj Danapur Intercity Express, 3413 UP Farakka express, 4302 down Danapur -Bhagalpur Express.

Routes of 3133 UP Siyaldah Varanasi Express, 3032 up Howaraha Gaya Express, 4056 Down Brahmputra Mail, 3024 Down Gaya Howrah Express and others were diverted.
