EC directive to voters

Chennai, May 1 (UNI) The Election Commission of India today said voters who have been issued Electronic Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) have to produce them before the authorities at the polling stations to exercise their franchise in the ensuing elections to the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

An official release here said those without EPIC could produce documents like passports, driving licences, service identity cards, passbooks with photographs, ration cards among others in original to cast their vote.
