Court refuses anticipatory bail of contractor

Patna, May 1 (UNI) Special CBI judge of Patna Jawahar Prasad Ratnesh today rejected the anticipatory bail petition of contractor Deepak Kumar accused in a case of fradulent withdrawal in BSNL office Patna.

The case was related to fradulent withdrawal of above Rs. 15 lakhs in PGMT office of BSNL Patna on the basis of forged bills under the connivance of officials during 2002-03.

CBI had already submitted chargesheet in the case in January 2006 against 14 people, including several officials of BSNL following an FIR registered in 2004.
