Advani's 'Suraksha Yatra' aimless: Congress

Jaipur, May 1 (UNI) BJP leader L K Advani's 'Bharat Surakhsha Yatra' is being taken out to deflect attention from party's internal squabbles, said senior Congress leader Mohan Prakash here today.

Mr Prakash said Mr Advani announced the yatra immediately after the Benaras blasts but the people of the city maintained peace and set an example for others to follow.

He added the yatra is aimless and has had no effect on the common public. He said Mr Advani has not even been able to wipe away the frustration so palpable among its party cadres.

Mr Advani is expected to reach here tomorrow and is likely to address meetings and meet the press.
