Advani's Bharat Suraksha Yatra reaches Rajasthan
Bhilwara, May 1 (UNI) BJP leader L K Advani's 'Bharat Suraksha Yatra' reached Baghera Chowki on the borders of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh around 1530 hrs today.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia along with BJP state president Dr Mahesh Sharma, MP Kailash Meghawal, Dushyant Singh and Chittorgarh MP Srichand Kripalani and many other ministers, were there to welcome him.
Around 500 BJP workers from Chittorgarh accompanied Mr Advani's rath on their vehicles and reached Nimbhahera around 1600 hrs.
While addressing the crowd gathered, Mr Advani in his short speech said, ''Through my yatra I am trying to make the masses aware that the country is not secure in the hands of the present UPA government at the Centre as the terrorist attacks are increasing day by day.'' He added that the ''Centre is signing deals, which is compromising the security of the country.'' Mr Advani addressed short meetings wherever he saw a gathering of crowds and even shook hands with the masses and greeted them with enthusiasm.
