7 killed in mishap near Bhandara

Nagpur, Apr 30 (UNI) Seven people were killed and at least 45 others injured when an onion-laden truck carrying them turned turtle on the Usgaon-Lakhni road, about 50 kilometres from Bhandara, this evening.

The truck overturned while trying to negotiate a difficult blind corner on the road, the police said. While six persons died on the spot, one person succumbed while being brought to Bhandara for treatment.

All the injured have been admitted to the district hospital in Bhandara, the police said.
