Woman ultra killed, school building damaged
Ranchi, Apr 30 (UNI) In two seperate incidents of naxal violence in Jharkhand in the past 24 hours, a woman ultra was killed in an encounter with police in the Garhwa district last night while extremists damaged a school building by a powerful bomb blast in Giridih district today.
Police said the ultras damaged the school building, which was often used as temporary police picket, through a blast. However, no casualty was reported in the incident as the police party staying in the school was called back to the district headquarters yesterday.
In another incident, a women ultra was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Sukhnadi village under Manjhiaon police station area of Garhwa district last evening. A large quantity of explosives, ammunition and other material were recovered from the spot.
