Sonia denounces killing of Indian engineer

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi today denounced the killing of Indian engineer K Suryanarayana in Afghanistan, and said the world as a whole should condemn the "dastardly act" against humanity.

"The killing is nothing but an act of cowardice," she said in a statement, while conveying her condolences to the bereaved family of Suryanarayana.

Ms Gandhi called upon the world community to strengthen its fight against terrorism.
