Reddy takes over as Union Bank Executive Director

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) R S Reddy has been appointed as the Executive Director of the public sector Union Bank of India.

Before this appoinment, Mr Reddy(55) was heading the Department of Asset Recovery of the Bank.

He started his career as a probationary officer of the Bank of India in May 1974. Later he became the Chief Executive of the Bank of India American Operations and served in the position for more than three years at New York till July 2005.

Mr Reddy hails from Bagepalli town of Karnataka and is a post-graduate in Agriculture.
