Raghunandan Sharma asked to reconsider decision
Bhopal, Apr 30 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kailash Chawla today urged Mr Raghunandan Sharma -- who quit as BJP vice-president to join expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti's new outfit, to reconsider his decision.
In a statement here today, the BJP leader said Mr Joshi's decision was neither in his nor the party's welfare.
''Though his disappointment on not being nominated as a Rajya Sabha candidate, he did not consider who was responsible for the decisionm.'' it said.
The former Chief Minister reminded that Mr Joshi's name was recommended by the state BJP strongly during 2004 election. However, Ms Bharti did not let a decision happen on the promise to appoint Mr Joshi to a good post.
He urged the former BJP vice president to reconsider his decision with a cool mind as a RSS worker.
Mr Joshi had resigned from the primary membership of the BJP yesterday. He was appointed as Ms Bharti's new outfit Bharatiya Janashakti's national general secretary today.
