One more succumbs to injuries in Jalandhar bus fire mishap

Jalandhar, Apr 30 (UNI) One more passenger, injured in fire on board the Punjab Roadway bus at the city bus stand here on Friday, died in a Ludhiana hospital today.

A Police spokesman said here today that Rampal, an ASI in the Punjab Police, succumbed to injuries today taking the toll in the accident up to three.

Earlier Rampal's wife Sukhwinder Kaur and an aged woman Bhagwanti Devi had died at CMC Hospital in Ludhiana yesterday.

As many as 15 passengers were injured when a Nangal bound bus caught fire at the bus stand here on April 28.

Forensic and Army experts have prima facie held that fire was caused by some inflammable material and found no evidence of any explosive material.
