Five Delhiites among seven killed in collision in Hisar

Hisar, Apr 30 (UNI) Seven people, including five women from Delhi, were killed and 23 injured, when the truck they were travelling in collided head-on with an oil-tanker near cantonment here this morning.

All the five deceased women, who belonged to Shahdara, have been identified as Poonam, Shanti, Pushpa, Murti and Prakasho Devi, two other dead are still to be identified.

Police said the truck was on its way to Dera Sacha Soda, Sirsa, when it collided with an oncoming oil-tanker.

All the injured were admitted to government and private hospitals here and the condition of four of them was stated to be serious.
